Zaccheo applied his formidable photographic skills on behalf of the world renown architectural firm, KPF (Kohn Pedersen Fox), capturing the grace, drama and beauty of some of their more iconic creations; the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles and the stunning and elaborate Hudson Yards on Manhattan’s west side, which includes the corporate headquarters of L’oreal.

Ken Feldman’s Big Imagination Foundation enlisted Zaccheo’s expertise with a camera in capturing the grandeur, texture and excitement of the conversion of a Boeing 747 jumbo jet into the biggest art car and entertainment venue in the history of Burning Man, making its final debut in Black Rock City, the summer of 2018.

Sean Zaccheo’s talents surfaced early in life with acceptance into NYFA at the age of 12, two years before their minimum age requirement for the program, during which time he was requested to sign a special release form allowing the school to “adopt” his short film “Pusher Men” for use as a teaching tool and example of how to creatively mix visuals with music.

As a 16-year-old, Sean was taken under the wing of industry veteran, Brent Jones who was Steven Spielberg’s key grip and would become a highly skilled and in-demand commercial director.

Starting as a grip, Sean learned the ropes of set lighting and safety protocol and worked on projects with Adam West, Eric Roberts, Stefy Rae and director Nigel Dick. Within the year, Zaccheo landed a job as key grip on a one-million dollar indie feature film and its accompanying music video “Dancin’ in the Clouds” featuring Steve Azar.

Sean continued to work in all aspects of commercial production. From client to agency to production company, he learned how the business operated from concept to delivery. Often preparing storyboards and shot lists, play-books for stunt sequences and shooting tech scouts, Sean became fully immersed in the pre-production, production and post-production process, working side-by-side with all the “shot-callers”.

Zaccheo soon evolved into a Producer of independent and award-winning short films, music videos and spec commercials, some of which were produced at Aero Film. As Executive Producer, his 2008 short film “P3rsona” won “Best of Show” – Accolade Competition; Winner, “Best Cinematography" - Los Angeles FirstGlance Festival; Winner, Best Editing – Beverly Hills Film Festival.

He also worked closely with director Rick Portin, the former VP of Production at E!, Director/Executive Producer in Charge of Production at Microsoft and Director of Production at Viacom. It was during Portin’s tenure as VP of Production with THR TV that Zaccheo produced national and international content and where, perhaps most notably, he shot, produced, directed and delivered THR TV’s Tribute to Michael Jackson within 48 hours of the entertainer’s death.

Feeling a strong connection to his creative works in photography, cinematography and filmmaking as a whole, Sean decided to work full-time as a director, cinematographer and photographer. After joining the Directors Guild of America and International Cinematographers Guild he has since found great success, fulfillment and the privilege of working with some of the top companies, brands, agencies and people who inspire him.
